The Gilbert Family

I enjoyed a refreshing sense of liveliness while shooting the Gilbert Family a couple weeks ago.
For some (wonderful) reason I was motivated to push the envelope, experiment with the light, to step out of my box and do a different kind of family session.
Maybe because I thought that no matter what, they'd be up for it.
Thankfully, they were!!
I am so pleased with how these turned out.
It was a refreshing change of pace for me.
Thank you Gilberts, for a lovely evening. Oh and thanks for the Costa Vida too. :)

I love the set up of the first pic. I love the use of light and shadow in the mom/dad only pic. I love the unique elegance of this family!
