Gear For Sale

I am selling my Canon 24-70 L 2.8 lens. It is in excellent condition. I've had it for about 9 months.

I originally bought this lens new a couple years ago and as luck would have it I got a lemon. :(
I was constantly dealing with back focusing and I just couldn't count on it to come through for me when I really needed sharp images.
I had it serviced by Canon for a full year, multiple times, but each time I would continue to struggle with it, to the point where I would never use it because it was so unpredictable.
These were sad times for me. ;)
Last December I called Canon, explained the situation and they recognized that I had a flawed lens.
They had me mail them my copy and in return sent me a refurbished copy.
I have not had a problem with it since.
It is truly and excellent lens, tack sharp, so versatile and convenient to use because of the mm range.
Total workhorse! I love this lens.
I am selling it because I have decided that I am more of a fixed lens shooter.

I have the original box it came in, the soft case, the hood and of course the lens itself.
I am selling it for $1150.00.

If you are interested in owning the best zoom lens out there for Canon users, contact me via email.

I'm going to go get myself a 35mm 1.4 now!! Woohoo!

Comments:
Nice. I've been thinking of moving into the prime market as well.

This + a mid and a 50mm is my dream kit.

Yay for a yummy prime lens :)

Congrats on your pregnancy. I read your blog often but haven't commented previously. Your photos and family stories make me smile. Thank you for sharing so generously. You have a beautiful family and heart.

Best, Wishes,
Heather

Yay!

Love it! I love the water ones.
