Ashley

My sister Ashley was riding her bike in SLC when she was struck by a car.
Covered in road rash and blood and surrounded by paramendics and ER doctors, she sends me this extremely mild text...
"I got in a bike accident. I was switching lanes and a car hit my front tire. I'm at the hospital getting the full run down but everything is fine. Just thought I'd let you know."
I figured, no big deal everything's fine. I wont worry.
My sister was just hit by a car and THIS was my reaction. I'm kicking myself.
A few days later I learned the seriousness of her injuries.
The girl was totally banged up.
Black eye.
Gaping cut next to her eye.
Black and blue knees.
Cuts, scrapes, and scabs.
Stitches.
Aches and pains.
It's amazing she's not worse off than she is.

I knew I wanted to photograph her immediately.
Only Ashley could look this incredibly beautiful three days after a serious bike accident and with no makeup whatsoever.

Comments:
Thank you for the pictures, I love them

wow, she is beautiful for just being in an accident. Love the art...
Hope she heals and gets back on that bike of hers without any fear.

Only you would know you had to get there to get some pictures after her accident. Only you would get such sweet shots. And Ashley, only you can rock road rash like that.
