Spinning Spinning and more Spinning

I've had my eyes peeled for an old school merry-go-round for months now.
You know, the kind they took out of practically every public park because they've been known to seriously injure little kids...
....yeah, that kind. :)

I finally found one.

Turns out that capturing the image I've been imagining in my mind for so long was not such an easy task.
It literally made me sick as a dog.
All that spinning and spinning and spinning and spinning and spinning and spinning and spinning....
Did I mention how much spinning was involved?
I'm still spinning 48 hours later. No joke!
A pregnant woman messing with her equilibrium in this way is just wrong.
I knew that going into it, but I didn't care.
I wanted this picture!!! Badly!!!
I'm so glad I got it.
It makes me happy every time I see it.

Albeit a little green.

More from Chase and Chelsey's engagement session on the blog soon!

What a happy picture! And where did you find this fantastic safety hazard?!

Beautiful!
Merry go rounds are still a staple in almost every playground in Scotland - even some more dangerous versions which are pitched up in the center.

I think it would be a great excuse for a trip across the pond!

Rad rad and seriously rad! haha!

i love this! the colors are perfect. it makes me happy looking at it, too.
