Mysterious Letters

Instead of being a responsible mother and helping my kids get ready for school this morning, I chose to surf the internet. (So the kids didn't eat breakfast today, it's not like their going to starve!!! Yeah, their tummies may growl a bit but maybe this way they will actually eat lunch!)

I visited the Yahoo home page and saw and interesting story. It led me HERE.

I have spent entirely too much time on this page. I am fascinated with these letters.
So creative and free flowing.
Funny and heart warming.
Bazaar and strange.
All of them wonderful!

I chose a few holiday favorites to post here but do yourself a favor, go check them all out. I hope you love them as much as I do and are inspired by Michael and Lenka's whimsical project.

This is such a wonderful time of year!! I want a letter like this in MY mailbox. Lenka? Michael? Anyone???

Now, I've gotta race the kids to the bus stop!

Oh and by the way, I was up at 5:30 am this morning (unheard of!) and went to a yoga class that completely kicked my butt! and my arms! and my abs! Oh boy, I'm going to be sore tomorrow.

Comments:
yay for yoga!

now I'm gonna go look at those cards while I ignore my own children. (fortunately, they've had both breakfast and lunch.)

Way to go! Where was the class?

Nice Kiera! Way to introduce a giant time sink the week before finals! ;-)
I have to say I'm really having a lot of fun with these as well. Never thought of language as an artistic medium, but, ya, wow...

Did you look at Michael's blog?
