The Birthday Party - Part 1

Today was Matias' fourth birthday party.

These were the cupcakes I made for the party. I had never heard of baking a cupcake in a cone before yesterday but I think I will be doing it that way from now on! 100% edible + no more wasteful wrappers = perfection! The trickery here is that the "soft serve" is actually whipped frosting.
These tasted sooo good. Yum!

Isaac gave Matias a birthday hug. What sweet boys.

Is is terrible that I chose to post the picture where Steven and I look halfway decent but our kids, not so much? Rarely do I post pictures of me and my hubby. I wanted us to look good. I have plenty of the kids looking adorable. They will be posted shortly.

These four pictures were taken by my very talented friend Leah, Thank you m'dear!

Comments:
beautiful pictures! Bella had so much fun! thankyou!!

Okay so off of the birthday party suject for a moment...I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your hair! You look so stinkin' cute!

Great pictures Mike's favortie was the hug picture, it is just too cute for words!

Funny thing - when I called this morning, I was thinking about how cute you looked yesterday, and thinking - I wonder if she got a picture? Then I thought about how most people just post pix of their kids, and would others think it's weird to put up a pic of yourself saying, "Don't I look good?" I'm so glad you did! It's good to have a pic of you lookin' smokin' hot. =o) You deserve it after the chaos that was your day!

I love those pictures. I had such nice ideas for the birthday party. Great mom! I hope to be like that. Ooh and also I have to know more details about this cupcake ice cream cone thing.

Those cupcakes look so cool! I want to make them too. And you guys - well, it goes withou saying what a good looking family you are!

*L* I'd have done the same thing. Kids are always cute anyway..You're such a cool chick... Tres chic! Hope he had a great little birthday!
